A Quick Start Site:  This includes a simple home page and up to 2 additional simple pages linked in. This is a good way to get something on your site (domain) quickly. At the very least you want your contact and location information on your site ASAP.

New Simple page to site.  This is a very simple plan page (i.e., w/o commerce, w/o slide shows (JavaScripts), no CSS, etc.).  Can contain links to other pages; Links for email addresses;

Per Page Update: Simple edit(s) and push (or ftp) to your site server. This is for simple edits like: new banner, changes to text on a page, calendar changes. This is a charge for each time I update and push a page to the site (price per page push). Ok to save up a list of simple changes to a single file to be edited so only one push charge is incurred.

(Not charged for fixes to errors I introduced (e.g., typos))

Typing: Entering data into the sight w/o electronic versions of the data or the data is in the wrong format (some items (like calendars) need to be submitted to me in my pre-defined specific table format)

Blog Set Up & linked into site: Post your messages on work, events, “anything” and allow others to post comments and feedback too.

Calendar Generating and posting of one calendar month per month. Calendar will be posted within 24 hours of my receiving the data (barring any unforeseen problems).

New Class Category: Added to site. For example Chain Maille at Studio 34

This page contains up to 3 classes. Each additional class added at an additional fee.

New Class Description Details Added to a Category Page:

Add a new class description “block” to an existing category.

For example, see any of the classes listed on the Chain Maille at Studio 34  category page.

Customer supplies class information data to me in my pre-defined specific table format.

JavaScript Drop Down Menu:  User clicks and choices “drop down” for them to pick from. Clicking choice jumps to link for that choice. For example, see the top of the Chain Maille at Studio 34 category page where it says “more class types here...”

This is a one time charge per drop down menu; The menu can be used on any number of web pages at no additional charge.

e commerce using PayPal: a shopping cart link on pages.

For each item (e.g., class) that a user wants to purchase an “add to cart” link is required. Addition of a page for transaction complete and one for transaction canceled included in this initial setup charge. User will see the custom files if they cancel or complete a transaction.

Assumes PayPal account already set up.

Image resizing for web: Things like: generate thumbnails for slide shows, correct image fit & size per page.

Bulk Emailing: You supply email message, images, and email addresses.

Price includes 3 e-mailings through out the month; Charged based on the number of addresses sent to.  Add $5/message sent over the limit of 3 / month.
You supply images and text for your message to me electronically.

Address sent to me electronically too (Excel or comma separated list, or ask)

I will just use a service like Constant Contact to do your bulk emails. They cover the overhead of bad email addresses (message bounce backs); allowing user to be removed or added to mailing lists; etc.

Image Editing:  Adjust for web: crop, enhance colors, edit backgrounds, and other simple fixes (like remove dust spots)... 

Restructure and cleanup site for maintainability (rename files to have meaningful names, directory structure, remove unused files, add generic “page not found”, ... ). This includes site testing (e.g., will site break if JavaScript is turned off?)

Job requiring coding

Set up web site traffic monitoring to see number of hits to a page, etc.
Using the shareware (free) AWStats ( http://awstats.sourceforge.net/ )

Basic JavaScript** picture “slide show” per page. Just runs a slide show of images. If desired, show pauses when mouse over an image.

Assumes: resized images supplied (i.e., resizing not included in cost).

** Note: this is a slide show done with JavaScript code (i.e., Not Adobe Flash or MS Silverlight, etc.)

More than basic JavaScript   picture “Slide Show” per page:
Basic slide show plus: Includes the links required when user puts mouse over an image and clicks it to see a larger picture of item or for more information on the clicked image (need one link per image).

Assumes correctly sized images are supplied (i.e, resizing not included in cost). For each image a thumbnail and a regular sized image is required.

If the link from the slide image is to another web page, the cost of creating that web page is not included.

Add “Search Site” Feature (via Googles utilities). Allow users to search your site.

Context Style Sheet (CSS) files used for defining a consistent look and feel of a site.
